FREDDIE GARNER QUARTET ; Young Pretender Sat 3pm

The group play an even mix of jazz standards and original compositions from swing through to latin nand ballads in the best traditin of the art of jazz. They specialise in the straight ahead style of the post bebop era whilst paying homage to the jazz greats who have influenced members of the band.

LAST CALL ; Prince of Wales Sun 5pm

Expect the blues as it should be –with passion and authenticity. Keith’s bottleneck guitar, Ric’s harmonica and a whole gutbucket of vocals will carry you back to the delta. Last Call follow last year’s epic gig at Congleton Jazz and Blues with Jim Kirkpatrick with a rare appearance at The Prince of Wales. Don’t miss it.

A British blues rock band, drawing influence from American and British artists such as ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rory Gallagher, Peter Green and Dr Feelgood. Cuba Neils; the band’s debut album was completed in late 2016 and is a collection of their songs to date.

GOODFELLAS ; Quigleys Sun 9pm

GoodFellas Blues Band have a palette of material from The Blues Breakers & B B King, through to Gary Moore and Joe Bonamassa. They’re fiery and passionate players who always give a great performance
