With the support of some fabulous local organisations and superb venues we give our time and energy to bring fantastic free music to our lovely little town over two weekends each year. Don't forget there are FREE buses between the train station and town centre from 10am to 8pm tonight. The number 91 bus will run it's usual timetable - which may mean the last train is a few minutes before 8pm - don't miss it, check the bus timetable online or signage at the bus stops for full details...

In collaboration with Congleton Town Council, the Congleton Live team have secured funding from Cheshire East and UKSPF which will be used to ensure there is an extended bus service over the festival weekend between the railway station and the town centre.

Each day leading up to the festival, in just TWO WEEKS time, we will publish posts featuring the gigs at a couple of our wonderful official venues.

First of all we want to draw your attention to a couple of not-to-be-missed community events we are hosting on Saturday 24th Aug in the beautiful Physic Garden. The garden is a lovely place to enjoy #freelivemusic in the sunshine - and a welcome escape for those who want a break from the busier venues. The garden is the focus of the artwork for the festival - once again designed by the super-talented Daz @ @adprofile .

@ 2pm there will be an OPEN MIC event hosted by the legendary Dan Toft. Grab your instrument, warm up those vocal chords and get involved, or just head over to support excellent local musicians doing their stuff.

@ 5pm there will be a performance, including audience participation, by the fabulous KOTU DRUMMERS.
